Ronald Lee Schuller, 80, of Pleasant Lake, passed away, Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born August 8, 1945, in Garrett, Indiana to Walter M. and Phyllis A. (Martz) Schuller.
Ron was a 1963 graduate of Ashley High School. He then went on to receive an associate’s degree in business administration from Manchester University.
He worked for Indiana Michigan Power as a Corporate Customer Service Manager, retiring in 2010 after 42 years of service to the company.
Ron married Jean L. (Kelley) Hubbard on July 7, 1984, at Zion Lutheran Church in Corunna. She survives in Pleasant Lake.
He was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Auburn and was a former member of the Bar None Saddle Club in Auburn.
Ron enjoyed bowling, hunting, and golfing. He enjoyed farming, teaching his kids how to ride horses, and taught them how to raise and show cows and horses through 4-H.
He also coached middle school and elementary school basketball teams, coached softball and was a past president of the Auburn Community Basketball League.
Also surviving are five children, Karmen Mercer of Indianapolis, Ron and Denise Schuller of Anderson, South Carolina, Michael and Nickey Hubbard of Pittsboro, Mark and Cori Hubbard of Mount Prospect, Illinois, and Tracy Hubbard of Pleasant Lake; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Tom Kolbus of Corunna.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2026, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with the Rev. Brian Stark officiating.
Burial will take place at Fairfield Cemetery in rural Corunna.
Visitation will be from 11:30 – 1 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2026, prior to the service at the funeral home.
